The UK's Society of Radiographers is the only body in the UK representing the whole of the radiographic workforce.

The Society of Radiographers is a trade union and professional body representing the professional, educational, public and workplace interests of its members. Founded in 1920, the Society is one of the oldest and most experienced radiography organisations in the world.

Membership is open to anyone working in clinical imaging, radiotherapy and oncology throughout the world.

The College of Radiographers is a charitable company limited by shares and registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales and the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator. The issued share capital of the College is owned by the Society of Radiographers.

In July 2015, The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) awarded accreditation to the processes used by the SCoR to publish guidance documents.

The Society of Radiographers produces Annual Reports, which are publicly available online.
